The family law courts, Florida statutes and intricate case law governing family law matters, as well as complex rules of evidence and procedure present a complicated framework in which your case will be considered and adjudicated in the family law court system. Even a simple matter handled improperly or incorrectly through error of law, procedure, misperception by a Court or by mere inaction, can create disastrous results often without any simple recourse. Mediation is an alternate dispute resolution process which limits exposure to negative potential results in Court by empowering the parties to make their own decisions, and not letting a judge make the decision for you.
